We are only asking presenters to pay registration, not general attendees. You can do so online or on the first day of the conference.
We ask that:
Registration covers conference costs that we were not about to completely cover through fundraising.
We are hosting dinner in conjunction with both of the Keynote Addresses (Krista Comer on Fri. evening and Cori Schumacher on Sat. evening). We are asking for a $10 contribution per dinner. This will include East African food on Friday night and Pizza on Saturday, and beer and soda on both nights. We ask that you pay in cash or Venmo at the door or at the conference registration table. Your $10 will also come with a raffle ticket. We will be raffling several items including a Firewire surfboard!
Unfortunately, we are unable to cover the cost of parking; however, there is very convenient parking near both of the on campus conference locations. Visitor parking is only $5/day and can be purchased through the paybyphone app. Instructions are one signs at the lot. For more information, visit the SDSU Parking and Transportation site.
There is also a trolley stop on campus and ride sharing drop off locations.
We are hosting paddle outs on Saturday and Sunday 6:00 - 8:30 AM before the presentations start.
Every conference room will have fully capable technology set ups, including a laptop. Additionally ,on Fri. and Sat., the Tula Community Center uses application Solstice which allows you to stream direct from your laptop to the project. Please feel free to down the app to your laptop.
We will have a table setup for which you can sell your books if you’d like.
